Summer Bishil (born June 15 15, 1985) is an American actor best known for playing Margo in The Magicians, a Syfy fantasy-drama series that aired from 2015 to current. Her prior role as Lebanese American teenage girl Jasira, who goes through many personal trials against the backdrop of the U.S. war in Iraq was in Alan Ball's film Towelhead. In 2007, she was chosen by Variety as one of 10 actors to watch. Crossing Over, a 2009 crime thriller film in which she portrayed a female character named Taslima Jangir was nominated as one of the Independent Spirit Award nominee for the category of Best Female Lead. In addition, she has appeared in films like Mooz-lum The Last Airbender Pop Star and Under the Silver Lake and was a guest on several roles on television apart from playing the co-lead in Lucky 7.
